How to Create Balance Between Giving and Receiving?

Balance between giving and receiving is at the heart of scarcity in the world. This is because the calculation of what to give and when to receive is based on the assumption that resources are limited. Balance between giving and receiving is not accounting; it is not a perspective of lack, nor is it an attempt to create an equal amount of giving and receiving between two sides. Balance between giving and receiving is a balance of emotional value.

That is, to find a personal "template" for each type of giving and receiving you wish to balance, examine:

If you want to balance giving against receiving – meaning you are the one who gave and you want to know what to receive –

    Examine:

    a. What did you give?

    b. What resources were required of you to give what you gave? (Time, money, emotional energy, connections, your good name and image in other contexts, collaborations with other people, etc.).

    c. How did what you gave make/will make the other person feel? (State the name of the emotion, the intensity of the emotion, and the impact of the emotion or the change the emotion created in that person's life).

    Ascertain:

    a. If you have a choice in receiving (whether it's money or any other compensation), choose compensation that will give you the same emotional value you saw created in the other person as a result of your giving.

    b. If you have no choice in receiving, open your heart and trust the other person to evoke in you the same emotional value that you evoked in them. An identical emotion, identical excitement, identical development, and other types of emotional value that will open you up in the world.

If you want to balance receiving against giving – meaning you are the one who received and you want to know what to give –

    Examine:

    a. What did you receive?

    b. What resources were required of the other person to give you what you received? (Time, money, emotional energy, connections, their good name, collaborations with other people, etc.).

    c. How did what you received make you feel? How did it affect your life? (State the name of the emotion, the intensity of the emotion, and the impact of the emotion or the change the emotion created in your life, even in areas unrelated to the other person's act of giving).

    Ascertain:

    a. Did the person ask you for compensation? (If so, feel: Was this compensation suggested as an option because they are embarrassed or afraid to receive compensation for their actions? Do they truly want this compensation and are excited by it? How will the compensation make them feel?)

Continue to the following sections if the person did not ask you for compensation:

    b. Is there a material or abstract resource in your possession that can amplify the impact of the person's actions in the world? Can you support (in a way that will evoke in them an emotion identical to yours) their desires? (Such as a complex issue for them that is easy for you).

    c. What makes that person feel exactly as you felt when you received the thing? You can ask them, their close ones, or observe their actions, dreams, and aspirations.

Remember: Other voices that arise within the lesson of balancing giving and receiving, such as self-worth, shame, self-diminishment, etc., do not belong to the lesson and it is not recommended to let them manage your free choices within the lesson, so that you can complete it.
